Ushers
Ushers are parish ambassadors and will often times be the first individual, parishioners and visitors see when they come to Mass. It is important to set a good example by wearing Sunday best clothing and smiling readily. Duties include welcoming and seating parishioners and guests before Mass. During Mass, ushers take up the collection, maintain order and security of services, and aide in any other miscellaneous needs that may arise. At the conclusion of the service they will check pews/commons areas for items that are left or need re-organized. Ushers may be any registered male parishioner who is high school age or older.
